On this project, I worked to re-present old audio in a fresh way. I remastered sermon audio, recorded piano and organ music, and presented it in a coherent, consistent package.

Harpist Bronn Journey performs at a much anticipated Christmas concert series each year. Audiences come pack into venues for his world-class music and Christmas comedy. In 2008 I was invited to coordinate and mix his shows, working with Bronn and the venues to make sure audiences heard Bronn's performance as it was meant to be heard. In his words: "If you miss some of the harp playing, that's OK. Get the jokes!" Fortunately, we got both.

I approached the Language Institute at University Presbyterian Church with an idea for creating efficient, cost-effective language learning tools. Their missionaries were leaving in a few days and needed tools to learn essential Arabic phrases. When I found out about their need, I quickly coordinated the production of language-learning audio for their short-term missionaries, giving them the tools they needed for their ministry.

It's a benefit to have a graphic designer/photographer for a brother. On this project we collaborated to add another dimension to his photography website. The concept was to have background music and sound effects that integrated seamlessly while enhancing the presentation of his photos.

A big church like University Presbyterian Church--where I'm employed--has a variety of audio needs. Traditional worship services, rock-concert style college gatherings, small gatherings, conferences, class presentations--I'm able to serve on the audio team that makes sure these events get what they need.

University Presbyterian Church's ministry extends beyond its walls. Each week it broadcasts its entire Sunday worship service on KCIS Seattle, and I mix the audio in such a way that those unable to attend don't just get to listen in--they get to participate.

With Vintage Jesus, I worked with Mars Hill Church to clearly communicate the message in this video. Our goal was to capture crisp, clear audio while remaining within a tight budget.
